Commission Appointment

Last month North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Cheri Beasley re-appointed Chris to serve on the North Carolina Sentencing & Policy Advisory Commission for his fifth two-year term.  As North Carolina Advocates for Justice‚Äôs representative on the Commission, Chris lends the perspective of practicing criminal defense lawyers to the work of the Commission, which meets quarterly.

On November 1, 2016 Chris Fialko was guest speaker at the Mass Incarceration class at UNC-Charlotte taught by Asst. Mecklenburg County Public Defender Toussaint Romain.
